Summons monsters to kill humans. The exact reason for this is unknown, and many theories exist.
During the Banishing War, She summoned the calamities, but they were all slain by legendary heroes. Versa herself was banished to the Moon.
Void's explanation
According to Void, She created humankind and is merely trying to save Her children from enslavement by a cosmic parasite. She was shattered into pieces (calamities) during the Banishing War by warriors empowered by Ardia's "unholy blessing".
