Imprisoned in Caelumnis
At some point after being separated from the party in Caelumnis and after enduring months of mental torment, he joins (or pretends to join) Roland's secret order the Unseen Chain.
In Cen
After seeing the party in Cen while under his fake identity Ashad, he lures the party to the golem forge in Dakha, where he tries to capture Walter by throwing him into a portal concealed in a "magma well", while being assisted by monstrous spider creatures.
The party thwarts his efforts and he escapes into the portal himself, but not alone; Shtah convinces Faylin to join her, promising that they can fix the world together and that she will never feel alone again.
