			Nobody is doing any real work at the harbor. The few dockworkers and sailors are playing dice and cards. The atmosphere is gloomy. The party finds the inn closest to the harbor, The Vanguard's Hearth. They meet with the owner (a male gnome) inside and tell them that they are looking for a man named Ashad. The innkeeper asks some names from among the party before he recognizes that they are the right people and gives them the key to a lodging house, telling them that they must have wealthy friends, as this Ashad person has paid for the lodging house for 5 days, but it hasn't been used. Arista notes that the innkeeper might do fishing on the side and asks about the fishing gear being displayed. The owner gets excited and gifts Arista a small bottle of wine as thanks for being the first one to ask about them.

			The party investigates the lodging house and finds a letter on a table inside. The letter says: "''I can delay no longer; I must make my move. Come to the forge as soon as possible. If this message is to be my last, I want the world to know that I did what had to be done to save my country. Glory to Al-Azaliyya.''"

			They leave the lodging house and head for the golem forge.

			As the party tries to negotiate their way in, a gruff male voice emerges from the other side of the palisade. A male dwarf lifts his head above the palisade wall and asks the party if they want to make some money.

			The party agrees to help do some work at the mine for a reasonable fee. The dwarf orders the gates to open and formally greets Xiong Li, taking his as the leader of the party as they enters. The dwarf asks the party to follow him to a large tent set up in the middle of the massive quarry dug near the side of the mountain.

			The party finds the crew of the Twin Bloods in Mad Rishik, a tavern at the docks. The captain is whipping his crew to frenzy for tomorrow's monster hunt.

			The party sits near the crew and attract the attention of the captain (Ba-Vikram), who recognizes that the party is strong. The captain offers to take the party to Dakha for a small fee, if they provide support during the hunt. The party agrees and goes to rest at an inn.

			At the inn, while the party rests, Hasae goes outside to talk with Faylin. He does the same with Walter afterwards.

			Next morning (2 days remaining until the meeting with Shtah), the party wakes up early and joins with the Twin Bloods crew. The ships set sail towards Dakha.

			Both ships enter the storm. Xiong Li persuades Saki to join him under the weather deck so that she doesn't needlessly risk her life on the hunt.

			The ship enters the storm but the monsters don't attack. Both the captain and the crew are growing frustrated and shouting obscenities at the waves. The captain finally decides to employ his secret weapon and goes into his quarters. He returns, disguised as a red-dress wearing noblewoman while urging everyone else to hide. Soon after, some monsters attack the ship. The party fights off a group of monsters.

			The crew gather spoils from the monsters and are excited for the next monster attack. However, the next wave never comes.

			Hours pass, and the ships pass the storm. The ships arrive at Dakha.

			Anaki suggests to Hasae that the party go in and defile the shrine of the "false god", but when Hasae refuses, Anaki runs in and tries to topple the golden statue off the altar. However, the golden statue is much too heavy for the ferret, so Anaki gives up and rejoins the party.

			The party continues towards Ma'Rukh and discovers a dead adventurer in the tree, with their backbag still intact. Arista harpoons the backbag and lowers it to the ground. Inside, there is a golden candelabra that looks like it belongs in church. The rest of the party would leave the candelabra behind, but Mickael takes it in secret.

Out of the three, only Walter sees something observing them briefly, before they fly away, leaving only a light green feather behind. Walter's description of the creature (green-haired, dark green and purple-robed woman with eyes on its green wings) fits that of an angel.

			Everyone inside the shack appears to have already come to terms with Kalala's fate. Mickael uses sign language to confirm to Saki that she's been put to rest.

			When Arista sees the green feather, she reveals that she's disgusted by the thing. Meanwhile, everyone else sees the feather as almost otherwordly beautiful. Hasae attempts to detect magic on the feather, but there is none. Arista forces herself to touch the feather and immediately goes outside to wash her hand in the rain. Walter keeps the feather.

			Arista's strange behaviour seems to imply that she's undergoing a transformation into a monster, despite there not being any apparent driving force behind it. They theorize that Arista's amulet having been disintegrated has something to do with it.

			Xiong Li and Arista take the first night watch. Arista tastes something wrong with her rations (they taste bland), but Xiong Li doesn't taste anything off about them. After they go to sleep and wake Mickael and Hasae for the next night watch, Arista can't sleep.

Kalala screams: "No... no!" when Walter's hands begin to glow in golden light. A pillar of light bursts out of Walter's palm. The light penetrates Khasai's anchel armor without difficulty and completely disintegrates most of it, along with Bodika and her servants. Kalala stands next to Walter, emotionless and with an empty stare.		Without the tunnel to limit his speed, Khasai begins to sprint towards Walter. Walter puts a hand on Kalala and points his palm towards Khasai. Kalala screams: "No... no!" when Walter's hands begin to glow in golden light. A pillar of light bursts out of Walter's palm. The light penetrates Khasai's anchel armor without difficulty and completely disintegrates most of it, along with Bodika and her servants. Kalala stands next to Walter, emotionless and with an empty stare.

			Party proceeds along the mountain path to seek some form of shelter to discuss what happened. Along the way, they find a seemingly abandoned shack. Inside the shack there are thousands of carefully sculpted stone statues of humans of various ethnicities wearing strange clothes that seem too overdesigned to be normal. Each of the stone statues is a masterpiece with a level of detail that would require months of work. Even stranger, there is no place to prepare food or to sleep. Despite the eerie surroundings, it is late in the evening, so the party set up camp inside the shack. Before they have a chance to discuss recent events, Kalala proclaims with a dispassionate voice that she's hungry. Walter takes Kalala outside the shack, Hasae follows. Walter puts Kalala out of her misery, shooting her in the head. With Hasae's help, they bury the body outside the shack with traditional Cenith burial rites fit for a member of royalty.
