			=== Towards Ma'Rukh ===
			The next morning (4 days remaining until the meeting with Shtah), the party begins the long trek over the mountains and then towards the coastal city of Ma'Rukh.

			On the other side of the mountain, they find a long-abandoned church of Ardia, which looks like it has been repurposed. At the altar of the church there is a golden statue of Ardia with wings.

			In front of the church there are four statues of adventurers in a position of prayer. Freaked out by this, the party doesn't feel inclined to investigate the church.

			Anaki suggests to Hasae that the party go in and defile the shrine of the "false god", but when Hasae refuses, Anaki runs in and tries to topple the golden statue off the altar. However, the golden statue is much too heavy for the ferret, so Anaki gives up and rejoins the party.

			The party continues towards Ma'Rukh and discovers a dead adventurer in the tree, with their backbag still intact. Arista harpoons the backbag and lowers it to the ground. Inside, there is a golden candelabra that looks like it belongs in church. The rest of the party would leave the candelabra behind, but Mickael takes it in secret.

			At night the party is ambushed by assassin vine monsters that attempt to strangle the party in their sleep. The party discovers them on time and dispatches the monsters.

			Next morning (3 days remaining until the meeting with Shtah)

			The party continues through the wilderness. Xiong Li sees a patch of land with less vegetation than in its surroundings, indicating that there may be something hidden underground. The party does not investigate further.

			The party sees an option to use an old canyon to get throught the jungle faster, as the bottom of the canyon gets less sunlight, meaning there's less vegetation. They take the canyon route.

			After hours of trekking through the canyon, they find a lone tyrannosaurus rex (the largest known beast in the world, but not a monster) sleeping at a chokepoint in the canyon. The party sneaks past the dinosaur.

			When they are about 1 hour to Ma'Rukh, the party hears the sound of a young girl screaming in terror. Knowing that there are monsters in the jungle that mimic the sounds of humans to lure them into an ambush, Hasae attempts to connect mentally to the supposed person, but gets no answer. The party ignores the screaming and moves on.

			At around 6 pm, the party arrives in Ma'Rukh.

			=== Ma'Rukh ===
			The city seems to be in spiritual turmoil. Churches and chapels are full of people praying and there are street preachers and madmen shouting from the top of the crates about the arrival of the "end times", as indicated by sighting of 13 "angels" emerging from the mountains to the east.

			No ships are moving in the harbor. Sailors are highly superstitious people, so they may be freaked out by these signs.

			On the way to the harbor, the party sees a duo of New Ardianist envoys (a bald male elf with a veil and a female half-giant with short blue hair) preaching about their religion and salvation in Lux Sanctus. They are flanked by a giant male bodyguard, who's avoiding drawing attention by leaning against the wall while wearing a giant size poncho and wide-brimmed hat. Arista seems to recognize the female envoy and warns the party that she may be a pirate.

			The party investigates the harbor and finds that the sailors are indeed refusing to set sail with the recent events. However, there are two monster-hunting mercenary ships, the "Twin Bloods" (Blood Fury and Blood Tempest) who will set sail early tomorrow when there will be a heavy storm at sea, meaning that monsters will be more likely to attack.

			The party finds the crew of the Twin Bloods in Mad Rishik, a tavern at the docks. The captain is whipping his crew to frenzy for tomorrow's monster hunt.

			The party sits near the crew and attract the attention of the captain (Ba-Vikram), who recognizes that the party is strong. The captain offers to take the party to Dakha for a small fee, if they provide support during the hunt. The party agrees and goes to rest at an inn.

			At the inn, while the party rests, Hasae goes outside to talk with Faylin. He does the same with Walter afterwards.

			Next morning (2 days remaining until the meeting with Shtah), the party wakes up early and joins with the Twin Bloods crew. The ships set sail towards Dakha.

			Both ships enter the storm. Xiong Li persuades Saki to join him under the weather deck so that she doesn't needlessly risk her life on the hunt.

			The ship enters the storm but the monsters don't attack. Both the captain and the crew are growing frustrated and shouting obscenities at the waves. The captain finally decides to employ his secret weapon and goes into his quarters. He returns, disguised as a red-dress wearing noblewoman while urging everyone else to hide. Soon after, some monsters attack the ship. The party fights off a group of monsters.

			The crew gather spoils from the monsters and are excited for the next monster attack. However, the next wave never comes.

			Hours pass, and the ships pass the storm. The ships arrive at Dakha.

			=== Dakha ===
			Dakha is rainy and overcast from the aftermath of the storm. The captain and the crew looks defeated and depressed. He grumbles and returns the money he took from the party and tells them to find another ship for their return journey, as he believes the party is "bad luck".

			Nobody is doing any real work at the harbor. The few dockworkers and sailors are playing dice and cards. The atmosphere is gloomy. The party finds the inn closest to the harbor, The Vanguard's Hearth. They meet with the owner (a male gnome) inside and tell them that they are looking for a man named Ashad. The innkeeper asks some names from among the party before he recognizes that they are the right people and gives them the key to a lodging house, telling them that they must have wealthy friends, as this Ashad person has paid for the lodging house for 5 days, but it hasn't been used. Arista notes that the innkeeper might do fishing on the side and asks about the fishing gear being displayed. The owner gets excited and gifts Arista a small bottle of wine as thanks for being the first one to ask about them.

			The party investigates the lodging house and finds a letter on a table inside. The letter says: "''I can delay no longer; I must make my move. Come to the forge as soon as possible. If this message is to be my last, I want the world to know that I did what had to be done to save my country. Glory to Al-Azaliyya.''"

			They leave the lodging house and head for the golem forge.

			==== Golem Forge ====
			After half an hour following the main road that leads directly to the forge, they find that the gates of the palisade surrounding the golem forge are shut. The lookout shouts to the party and tells them that the forge is not accepting any visitors due to a technical issue.

			As the party tries to negotiate their way in, a gruff male voice emerges from the other side of the palisade. A male dwarf lifts his head above the palisade wall and asks the party if they want to make some money.

			The party agrees to help do some work at the mine for a reasonable fee. The dwarf orders the gates to open and formally greets Xiong Li, taking his as the leader of the party as they enters. The dwarf asks the party to follow him to a large tent set up in the middle of the massive quarry dug near the side of the mountain.
